In game five of the World Series, the Phillies defeated the Tampa Bay Ray's tonight, 4-3. This was the first World Series win by the Phillies since 1980. Lefty pitcher Cole Hamel was named series MVP. This is the second World Series win for the Phillies in 125 years.
